Ayrshire Golf Breaks

Belleisle Golf BreaksBelleisle Golf Breaks. Belleisle Golf Course. This parkland course is considered by many as one of the finest public courses in Scotland. Host to some top Scottish and European competitions, the long fairways are flanked by hundreds of tall beach trees and crossed by a winding burn. With only two par 4's under 400 yards and one of the hardest par 3's in Ayrshire, it is a real golfing challenge. 18 holes. Par 72. 6,477 yds. Parkland.

Brunston Castle Golf BreaksBrunston Castle Golf Breaks. Brunston Castle Golf Course is a 6700 yard parkland course designed by Donald Steel. Parkland.

Darley Golf BreaksDarley Golf Breaks. Darley Golf Course. If you like a challenge, this course is the one for you! Of the links variety, it abounds with the renowned Scottish hazards of heather, gorse and whin and though not as long as Lochgreen, it's a tough test of golf, demanding the straightest of tee shots. 18 holes. Par 71. 6,360 yds. Links. Ayrshire Golf Breaks.

Irvine Bogside Golf BreaksIrvine Bogside Golf Breaks. Irvine Bogside - With heavy gorse and heather spread around the course some say this is the trickiest of the Open Championship Qualifiers in the area. Although slightly shorter than the others there are deep bunkers and numerous blind shots, so you'll need to be on top of your game. 18 holes. Par 71. 6,408 yds. Links. Ayrshire Golf Breaks.

Lochgreen Golf BreaksLochgreen Golf Breaks. Lochgreen Golf Course - One of three municipal courses in a single setting in Troon. Lochgreen favours the long hitters. It has been used several times as a qualifying course for the Open Championship and has several testing holes which are reminiscent of Royal Troon. 18 holes. Par 73. 6,822 yds. Links. Ayrshire Golf Breaks.

Barassie Golf Breaks. Kilmarnock, Barassie Golf Course - Just two miles north of Troon, this links course is an Open Championship Qualifying venue with some of the best maintained greens in Scotland. Established in 1887 it is now a 27 hole set-up with nine relatively new holes as part of the championship course, giving it a different dimension. The course is tough, but is typically what Scottish Links golf is about - large sloping greens, deep bunkers and doglegs. Hosted the British Amateur Championships in June 2001. 18 holes. Par 72. 6,817 yds. Links. Ayrshire Golf Breaks.
