Blairgowrie
Golf Breaks. Rosemount Course - The Rosemount is the older
and more celebrated course at Blairgowrie and was designed by
the legendary James Braid. It was over the Rosemount Course
that former world number one Greg Norman won his first ever
European Tour event while the world record for consecutive birdies,
10, was set in 1973 between the course's 8th and 17th holes
during a tournament practice round. 18 holes. Par 72. 6,600
yds. Heathland.
Lansdowne
Course - The Lansdowne Course, a 1970's addition, is the work
of Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas. It features many fairways tightly
lined with silver birch and pine meaning that straight driving
will be rewarded. At over 7,000 yards from the back tees, it
is a testing yet enjoyable walk. 18 holes. Par 72. 6,800 yds.
Heathland.
