Castle Semple Collegiate Church

The church is a rectangular structure with an apsidal east end. A square tower projects from the west gable. The style of the cast end is remarkable. The apse is three-sided, each side having three windows of debased Gothic form. An ornate monument in memory of John Lord Semple, killed at Flodden, 1513, is in the north wall at the east endytt reveals the last expiring effort of the Gothic decorative spirit. Located at Castle Semple, north-east of Lochwinnoch, Ayrshire, Scotland.
