Culloden Battlefield
Culloden Battlefield, near Inverness, Scotland. On the sixteenth of April 1746, this bleak moor saw the end of the Jacobite Rising of 1745 when the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart was defeated by a government army under the Duke of Cumberland.
