MacLean Singing Land
The
songs that will stick with you long after you've turned off
the music are: the title track; "Desperate Man" (which
thematically reminds me of Craigie Dhu's "Seagull");
"This Love Will Carry"; and "Goodnight and Joy"
(another stunning example of the wonderful things Dougie can
do with the last songs of his recordings).
I admit
that I am a hopelessly biased Dougie MacLean fan, but I still
say you cannot beat this man's music. "Singing Land"
is a disc full of beautiful, searching music.
