Golf Club opened in 1912. This is a lovely Willie Fernie designed
parkland course, which is always in excellent condition and
has a superb restaurant and bar. 18 holes. Par 71. 6,325 yds.

Kirkcudbright
Golf Breaks. Kirkcudbright Golf Club - A challenging parkland
course that contains a lot of variety. The undulating terrain
provides some gentle slopes to climb but you are rewarded with
magnificent panoramic views of the Dee Estuary and the surrounding
countryside. A high quality course, the long 8th and the short
9th stand out in particular. 18 holes. Par 69. 5,739 yds. Parkland.

Southerness
Golf Breaks. Southerness Golf Course was designed by McKenzie
Ross, and built in 1947. This is a true championship links course,
measuring 6,566 yards from the white tees and 6,106 from the
yellow tees. The course is situated on the Solway coast giving
panoramic views of the Solway Firth, the Cumbrian Lake District
to the south, and the Galloway Hills to the west. McKenzie Ross's
brilliant design has been complemented by the excellent condition
it is kept in, and this has been recognised by "Golf Monthly",
who have included Southerness in their list of top 100 courses
in Britain and Ireland each year since 1990. 18 holes. Par 72.

Wigtownshire
Golf Breaks. Wigtownshire County Golf Course (Glenluce)
- The excellent condition of the course, combined with the subtly
sloping greens and changing sea breezes provide a great test
