We would like to welcome you to our practice where we aim to provide a high standard of family medicine in a friendly environment in modern purpose-built premises. We will respect your confidentiality at all times and give you as much information about your health as you wish. Please ask for our healthcare manual, which we hope you will find useful in treating minor illness and injury and in helping you to decide when you should make an appointment to see a doctor or nurse to discuss any problems.

Surgery opening hours

Monday to Friday
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To register with the practice

You may call in at the surgery any time between 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday to complete a registration form. If you are visiting or living temporarily in the area, you may register as a temporary resident.

Appointments

Non-urgent, routine appointments with a doctor are made between 9 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. Practice nurse appointments continue at intervals throughout most days.

Emergencies

In the case of an emergency, please telephone the surgery or dial 999.

Disabled access and extra assistance

There is wheelchair access both inside and outside the building but, if you need extra help on arrival, please ring the front door bell. If you are hard of hearing or have visual difficulties, please let the receptionist know and you will be offered any assistance you may need. If you do not speak English, please ask someone to let the receptionist know at the time of making the appointment and we will do our best to arrange for an interpreter.

Nights and weekends

Patient care between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays, Sundays and certain public holidays is the responsibility of NHS24 – tel. no. 08454 242424. If, in an emergency, you have difficulty contacting NHS24, dial 999.
