Eassie
Eassie
is located 2 miles from Glamis. The famed 8th century Pictish
Stone is within a protective shelter inside the ruined Kirk
of Eassie. Although the rear of the stone is somewhat worn,
the side bearing the cross is in a particularly good state of
preservation. The stone illustrates a several figures, including
warriors with distinctive cloaks, cattle, a stag, a tree and
various symbols. The stone is in the care of Historic Scotland.
