Edinburgh City Walk
A half day Edinburgh City walk through the Old Town and New Town. From Waverly Station walk up to Edinburgh Castle and then walk down the long thoroughfare of the Royal Mile with the tall medieval tenements on your left. Walk all the way down to Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament building, then head left up to Calton Hill with its wonderful monuments and views of the Edinburgh Cityscape. Walk back down from Calton Hill to Princes Street, past the Scott Monument, and then turn right into the Georgian glories of Edinburgh's New Town, including George Street, Queen Street and Charlotte Square.
