times Open Champion and a prolific designer of golf courses,
visited the course and redesigned the 18 holes into a par 72,
6,217 yard layout which has stood the passing of time and remains

Golf Breaks. Golspie Golf Course - Running from the edge
of the village along the seashore to the Ferry Wood, the Golspie
course offers an unusual contrast in golfing terrain, traversing
from links to heathland, then to pasture on the holes alongside
Ferry Road before reversing again to links turf over the closing

Fortrose
and Rosemarkie Golf Breaks. A typical yet unique Scottish
links course designed by James Braid and almost totally encircled
by the sea. There are sea and mountain views from every tee,
fairway and green, other visual delights are the resident school
of bottle-nose dolphins who often play within a five irons length

Forres
Golf Breaks. Forres Golf Course - Forres Golf Club celebrated
its centenary year in 1989. The original 9 holes were designed
by James Braid and in 1912 Willie Park was enlisted to extend
the layout to 18 holes. The course, which has hosted the Scottish

of Ord Golf Breaks. This heathland course has improved tremendously
over recent years with the addition of 5 new holes and the Par
3 12th, measuring 219 yards, is probably one of the toughest
