Old Renfrew

Old Renfrew
Old Renfrew. Contains photographs of three different generations of the famous Renfrew ferry, as well as views of other traffic on the Clyde, including the steamer Isle of Arran. Pictures of the area around the town hall show it before and after the one- and two-storey thatched buildings were demolished and replaced by substantial sandstone tenements. There are also some fantastic views of the very futuristic Renfrew Airport building dating from the 1950s.
