Old Saltcoats. Crowds arriving for a holiday during the Glasgow Fair, motorboat trips, and midnight swimming at the outdoor pool are some of the subjects featured in Old Saltcoats. The old Casino Picture House, replaced by the Regal, now a nightclub, thatched cottages on Windmill Street, and the crowning of the first Queen of the Sea are also included, along with the town's mineral well (once a tourist attraction), a line-up of Saltcoats Victoria football team, and the 1901 fire brigade with their hand-pulled cart.
