The Royal Dunkeld Hotel was originally built in 1815
as a coaching inn. Over the years, it has developed into
a friendly comfortable 3 star hotel in the middle of the
picturesque and historic village of Dunkeld on the banks
of the River Tay. There are many attractions including the
Cathedral and Hermitage, at this ‘Gateway to the Highlands,
with wonderful walks in the surrounding hills and forests.
Golfers are catered with many Perthshire courses within
easy reach, especially the Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club.
