Scotlandwell, Perthshire, Scotland. King Robert the Bruce, who came to be cured of leprosy, held a parliament here and in 1858 a canopy was built over the well that gives the village its name.
Scotlandwell is a small village located to the east of Loch Leven in Perthshire, Scotland. In the thirteenth century, the village became a centre of pilgrimage where Red Friars used spring water to cure an assortment of diseases.
